Our Position
JEESEE · 2026

The fashion industry produces over 100 billion garments a year. We made 100.

Sustainability isn't a certification or a carbon offset programme. It's a decision made before the first piece of fabric is cut. For us, that decision was simple: make one thing, make it well, and stop.

We are not a sustainable brand in the conventional sense. We don't use recycled ocean plastic or print certificates on our packaging. What we do is more fundamental — we refuse to overproduce. 100 pairs exist. No more will be made. The most sustainable product is the one that doesn't need to be replaced.

Our commitments
01

Radical limitation

100 pairs. That's the entire production run. When the last pair sells, the pattern is archived permanently. No seasonal restocks, no "limited" relaunches, no outlet clearance. The scarcity is real because the intention is real.

02

Built to last

Premium 100% nylon, double-lined, chlorine-resistant. These aren't marketing claims — they're the reasons you won't need to replace them. A garment you wear for ten summers is infinitely more sustainable than one you replace every season.

03

No waste by design

We ordered exactly what we needed. No surplus stock sitting in a warehouse. No end-of-season discounting. No landfill. When you produce 100 units with intention, waste becomes structurally impossible.

100
Units produced. Total.
0
Units of surplus stock.
Seasons the fabric is built for.
1
Run. Ever.

Why 100?

The number wasn't chosen for mystique. It was chosen because it's the smallest quantity at which you can justify the investment in genuinely premium materials and proper construction — without needing to sell at a volume that forces compromise.

Below 100, the unit economics of quality manufacturing don't work. Above 100, you start making decisions based on sell-through rates rather than standards. 100 is the exact number at which you can make something right and sell it honestly.

It also means that every person who owns a pair is one of exactly 100 people in the world who made the same choice. That feels meaningful to us — and we think it does to them too.

We don't claim to be saving the planet. We claim to be one small example of what happens when a brand decides that doing less, better, is a complete business model — not a compromise.
